Bāla Kāṇḍa·Śloka 2·0.2
bhavānīśaṅkarau vande śraddhāviśvāsarūpiṇau | yābhyāṁ vinā na paśyanti siddhāḥ svāntaḥstham īśvaram ||
English rendering

I bow to Bhavānī and Śaṅkara — the two who are embodied as faith and trust. Without them, even those who have already accomplished the practice cannot see the Lord who is seated within them.

Context — editorial

The second Sanskrit invocation. Tulsīdās names śraddhā (faith) and viśvāsa (trust) not as add-ons to the spiritual life but as the two eyes with which the inner Lord is seen — without which even a siddha is blind.
