सीतारामगुणग्रामपुण्यारण्यविहारिणौ।
वन्दे विशुद्धविज्ञानौ कवीश्वरकपीश्वरौ॥
sītārāmaguṇagrāmapuṇyāraṇyavihāriṇau |
vande viśuddhavijñānau kavīśvarakapīśvarau ||
English rendering
I bow to the two lords — of poets and of vānaras — of perfectly refined knowing, who wander in the sacred forest that is the collected virtues of Sītā and Rāma.

सीता-राम के गुणसमूह रूपी पुण्य वन में विचरण करने वाले, विशुद्ध विज्ञान से युक्त, कवियों के ईश्वर (वाल्मीकि) और वानरों के ईश्वर (हनुमान) की मैं वन्दना करता हूँ।
Context — editorial
A dense, luminous verse. The virtues of Sītā and Rāma are figured as a forest; two figures walk that forest — the lord of poets (Vālmīki, who first composed the Rāmāyaṇa) and the lord of vānaras (Hanumān, who first served it). Tulsīdās places himself in their footprints.
