सब जानत प्रभु प्रभुता सोई। तदपि कहें बिनु रहा न कोई॥
तहाँ बेद अस कारन राखा। भजन प्रभाउ भाँति बहु भाषा॥
saba jānata prabhu prabhutā soī, tadapi kaheṁ binu rahā na koī |
tahā̃ beda asa kārana rākhā, bhajana prabhāu bhā̃ti bahu bhāṣā ||
English Rendering
Everyone already knows the Lord’s greatness — and yet no one has been able to stop from speaking of it. There the Veda has stored this reason: the power of devotion, described in many ways.

प्रभु की प्रभुता सब जानते हैं — फिर भी कोई कहे बिना रह नहीं सका। वेद ने वहाँ यह कारण दिया है — भजन की महिमा को विविध प्रकार से भाषा में लाना।
Context — Editorial
The little psychological puzzle at the heart of the invocations: if everyone knows the Lord already, why is there so much scripture? The answer is not information but bhajana — the practice of speaking, which is itself the fruit.
