आखर मधुर मनोहर दोऊ। बरन बिलोचन जन जिय जोऊ॥
सुमिरत सुलभ सुखद सब काहू। लोक लाहु परलोक निबाहू॥
ākhara madhura manohara doū, barana bilocana jana jiya joū |
sumirata sulabha sukhada saba kāhū, loka lāhu paraloka nibāhū ||

Both syllables — sweet and lovely — the letters, the eyes, the very life of the devotee. Easy to remember, delightful to everyone, a gain in this world and a keeping in the next.

दोनों अक्षर मधुर और मनोहर हैं — भक्तों के लिए वे वर्ण भी हैं, नेत्र भी हैं, प्राण भी। सुमिरन में सुलभ, सबको सुखद — इस लोक में लाभ, और परलोक में निबाह (आधार)।
