English Rendering
A particular form, if its name is not known, cannot be recognised even when it is held in the hand. But by remembering the Name, even without seeing the Form, it arises in the heart with a special affection.
Context — Editorial
Two experiments stated as a single teaching. An unnamed thing in your hand is invisible to you. A named thing you cannot see is already before you. The Name does more work than the eye.
