सो न होइ बिनु बिमल मति, मोहि मति बल अति थोर।
करहु कृपा हरि जस कहउँ, पुनि पुनि करउँ निहोर॥14(ख)॥
so na hoi binu bimala mati, mohi mati bala ati thora |
karahu kṛpā hari jasa kahaũ, puni puni karaũ nihora ||14(kha)||
English Rendering
But that cannot happen without a pure intellect, and the strength of my mind is very small. Grant your grace, so I may speak Hari’s glory — again and again I plead.

पर यह विमल बुद्धि के बिना सम्भव नहीं — और मेरी बुद्धि का बल अत्यन्त थोड़ा है। कृपा कीजिए कि मैं श्रीहरि का यश कह सकूँ — बार-बार मैं यही निवेदन करता हूँ।
Context — Editorial
A confession that is also a strategy. If the previous dohā set the standard — the enemy’s admiration — this one names the required equipment: bimala mati, pure intellect. Which the poet says he lacks. The plea returns.
