भनिति मोरि सब गुन रहित, बिस्व बिदित गुन एक।
सो बिचारि सुनिहहिं सुमति, जिन्ह कें बिमल बिवेक॥
bhaniti mori saba guna rahita, bisva bidita guna eka |
so bicāri sunihahiṁ sumati, jinha keṁ bimala biveka ||
English Rendering
My composition has no merits — save one merit that the whole world already knows: it speaks the name of Rāma. Reflecting on that one merit, the wise, whose discernment is pure, will listen.

मेरी रचना समस्त गुणों से रहित है — पर एक गुण ऐसा है जो सारा जगत जानता है (श्रीराम-नाम की महिमा)। उसी एक गुण को विचार कर सुमति और निर्मल विवेक वाले सज्जन इसे सुनेंगे।
Context — Editorial
The dohā that closes the humility movement. Tulsīdās concedes every possible defect and stakes the whole poem on a single fact: the subject is Rāma. That is enough — the discerning will hear him out.
