एहि महँ रघुपति नाम उदारा। अति पावन पुरान श्रुति सारा॥
मंगल भवन अमंगल हारी। उमा सहित जेहि जपत पुरारी॥
ehi mahã raghupati nāma udārā, ati pāvana purāna śruti sārā |
maṁgala bhavana amaṁgala hārī, umā sahita jehi japata purārī ||
English Rendering
Within this poem stands the generous name of Raghupati — supremely purifying, the essence of the Purāṇas and the Vedas. It is the house of every auspicious thing, the remover of every inauspicious one — the name that Purāri (Śiva) himself chants along with Umā.

इस रचना में श्रीरघुपति का उदार नाम है — अत्यन्त पावन, वेद और पुराणों का सार। यह समस्त मंगलों का घर है और सब अमंगलों का हरण करने वाला — जिसे स्वयं पुरारी (शिव) उमा के साथ जपते हैं।
