Bāla Kāṇḍa·Chaupāī·12.4·95 of 104
English Rendering
Considering all these entreaties of mine in their various forms, no one will hear the story and find fault with it. And if, even after all this, someone still holds a doubt — that person is duller and more mind-poor than I am.
Context — Editorial
The strategy is complete. Every defence has been made, every fault confessed. What remains? Tulsīdās simply says: if you still have an objection, you are more foolish than the poet — a poet who has just called himself the first among fools.
