सो केवल भगतन हित लागी। परम कृपाल प्रनत अनुरागी॥
जेहि जन पर ममता अति छोहू। जेहिं करुना करि कीन्ह न कोहू॥
so kevala bhagatana hita lāgī, parama kṛpāla pranata anurāgī |
jehi jana para mamatā ati chohū, jehiṁ karunā kari kīnha na kohū ||
English Rendering
He did this only for the sake of his devotees — supremely gracious, and full of love for those who take refuge. Toward the devotee, his affection and kindness are unmeasured; his compassion is such that he has never allowed himself to become angry.

उन्होंने यह केवल भक्तों के हित के लिए किया — परम कृपालु, शरणागतवत्सल। भक्तों पर उनकी ममता और अनुग्रह अत्यन्त गहरा है — करुणा के कारण उन्होंने कभी क्रोध नहीं किया।
Context — Editorial
The reason for the incarnation is stated in one word: bhakta. Not a cosmic necessity, not the balancing of some universal ledger. He came because someone loved him, and someone had to be answered.
