चरन कमल बंदउँ तिन्ह केरे। पुरवहुँ सकल मनोरथ मेरे॥
कलि के कबिन्ह करउँ परनामा। जिन्ह बरने रघुपति गुन ग्रामा॥
carana kamala baṁdaũ tinha kere, puravahũ sakala manoratha mere |
kali ke kabinha karaũ paranāmā, jinha barane raghupati guna grāmā ||
English Rendering
I bow at their lotus feet — may they fulfil every desire of mine. And I salute the poets of the Kali age themselves, whoever has described the whole village of Raghupati’s virtues.

मैं उन सबके चरण-कमलों की वन्दना करता हूँ — वे मेरे समस्त मनोरथ पूरे करें। कलियुग के कवियों को भी मैं प्रणाम करता हूँ — जिन्होंने श्रीरघुपति के गुण-समूह का वर्णन किया।
Context — Editorial
The vandanā widens. The old sages first; then, unusually, the poets of the poet’s own age. Tulsīdās does not exclude the moderns — anyone who has sung Rāma is welcomed into the invocation.
