करउँ प्रनाम करम मन बानी। करहु कृपा सुत सेवक जानी॥
जिन्हहि बिरचि बड़ भयउ बिधाता। महिमा अवधि राम पितु माता॥
karaũ pranāma karama mana bānī, karahu kṛpā suta sevaka jānī |
jinhahi biraci baṛa bhayau bidhātā, mahimā avadhi rāma pitu mātā ||
English Rendering
I offer my salutation in deed, mind, and word — grant your grace, knowing me as son and servant. They by whose creation the Creator himself grew great — Rāma’s father and mother, the very boundary of all glory.
हिन्दी अनुवाद
कर्म, मन और वाणी से मैं प्रणाम करता हूँ — पुत्र और सेवक जानकर कृपा कीजिए। जिन्हें रचकर विधाता (ब्रह्मा) भी बड़े हुए — श्रीराम के पिता-माता — महिमा की अवधि (सीमा) हैं।
Context — Editorial
The three-fold offering — karma, mana, vāṇī — and one of the tenderest lines in the whole invocation. Even Brahmā’s greatness is a reflected greatness; he became large by making these two.
