रिपुसूदन पद कमल नमामी। सूर सुसील भरत अनुगामी॥
महावीर बिनवउँ हनुमाना। राम जासु जस आप बखाना॥
ripusūdana pada kamala namāmī, sūra susīla bharata anugāmī |
mahāvīra binavaũ hanumānā, rāma jāsu jasa āpa bakhānā ||
English Rendering
I bow to Śatrughna’s lotus feet — brave, well-mannered, and follower of Bharata. And I entreat Mahāvīra Hanumān — whose glory Rāma himself has praised.

रिपुसूदन (शत्रुघ्न) के पद-कमलों को नमन करता हूँ — शूर, सुशील, भरत के अनुगामी। और महावीर हनुमान को विनती करता हूँ — जिनका यश स्वयं श्रीराम ने बखाना है।
Context — Editorial
The two least-sung heroes of the four-brother formation, put together in one stanza. Śatrughna is named as Bharata’s follower — the loyalty that seldom needs its own portrait. Hanumān is introduced by the only credential that matters: Rāma spoke of him.
