रघुपति चरन उपासक जेते। खग मृग सुर नर असुर समेते॥
बंदउँ पद सरोज सब केरे। जे बिनु काम राम के चेरे॥
raghupati carana upāsaka jete, khaga mṛga sura nara asura samete |
baṁdaũ pada saroja saba kere, je binu kāma rāma ke cere ||
English Rendering
All who worship the feet of Raghupati — birds, animals, gods, humans, demons alike — I bow at the lotus feet of them all, who are Rāma’s servants without any desire in return.

श्रीरघुपति-चरणों के जितने भी उपासक हैं — पक्षी, मृग, देवता, मनुष्य और असुर सहित — मैं उन सबके चरण-कमलों की वन्दना करता हूँ, जो बिना किसी कामना (चाह) के श्रीराम के दास हैं।
Context — Editorial
The circle widens further still — every species. And the qualifying phrase is exact: bin kāma — without desire. The offering that expects nothing is what Tulsīdās salutes. Devotion held for the sake of what it might fetch is quietly excluded.
