सुक सनकादि भगत मुनि नारद। जे मुनिबर बिग्यान बिसारद॥
प्रनवउँ सबहिं धरनि धरि सीसा। करहु कृपा जन जानि मुनीसा॥
suka sanakādi bhagata muni nārada, je munibara bigyāna bisārada |
pranavaũ sabahĩ dharani dhari sīsā, karahu kṛpā jana jāni munīsā ||
English Rendering
Śuka, Sanaka and his brothers, the devotee-sage Nārada — those great sages, masters of transcendental knowledge — to all of them I bow, placing my head on the earth; be gracious, O lord of sages, knowing me as your servant.

शुक (शुकदेव), सनकादि (सनक-सनन्दन-सनातन-सनत्कुमार), भक्त-मुनि नारद — जो मुनिश्रेष्ठ हैं, विज्ञान-विशारद हैं — उन सबको मैं पृथ्वी पर सिर धरकर प्रणाम करता हूँ; कृपा कीजिए, हे मुनीश्वरों, अपने दास (जन) जानकर।
