पुनि मन बचन कर्म रघुनायक। चरन कमल बंदउँ सब लायक॥
राजिवनयन धरें धनु सायक। भगत बिपति भंजन सुख दायक॥
puni mana bacana karma raghunāyaka, carana kamala baṁdaũ saba lāyaka |
rājivanayana dharẽ dhanu sāyaka, bhagata bipati bhaṁjana sukha dāyaka ||
English Rendering
Then, in mind, speech, and deed, I bow to the lotus feet of Raghunāyaka — worthy of all worship — the lotus-eyed one bearing bow and arrow, who breaks the calamity of his devotees and gives them happiness.

फिर मन, वचन, कर्म से श्रीरघुनायक के — सर्व-लायक — चरण-कमलों की वन्दना करता हूँ। जो राजीव-नयन (कमल-नेत्र) हैं, धनुष-बाण धारण किए हुए हैं — भक्तों की विपत्ति के भंजन (नाश करने वाले) और सुख के दायक।
Context — Editorial
The vandanā has now moved through the whole ecosystem — from queen-mothers to demons to sages to Sītā — and arrives at last at Rāma. The bow is in his hand. The eyes are lotus. The reason for the whole invocation is now standing before the poet.
