Bāla Kāṇḍa·Chaupāī·2.7
akatha alaukika tīratharāū, dei sadya phala pragaṭa pramāū ||
English Rendering
Unspeakable, otherworldly is that Prayāga; it grants its fruit at once, with visible proof.
Context — Editorial
A single sealing couplet closes the extended Prayāga metaphor before Dohā 2. Tulsīdās specifies the difference between the physical and the metaphorical tīrtha: the outer one gives merit at a future life; the saint-Prayāga gives its fruit on the spot, and one can watch it happen.
