japahĩ nāmu jana ārata bhārī, miṭahĩ kusaṁkaṭa hohĩ sukhārī |
rāma bhagata jaga cāri prakārā, sukṛtī cāriu anagha udārā ||
English Rendering
The deeply afflicted chant the Name — and their terrible troubles vanish; they become glad. The devotees of Rāma in this world are of four kinds — all four virtuous, sinless, generous.
Context — Editorial
The third kind — the ārta, the afflicted. Not a philosopher, not a power-seeker — simply someone whose troubles are too heavy. For this person the Name is medicine. The Gītā’s four-fold typology (arto, jijñāsur, arthārthī, jñānī) is being quietly introduced.
