Bāla Kāṇḍa·Chaupāī·3.3
मति कीरति गति भूति भलाई। जब जेहिं जतन जहाँ जेहिं पाई॥
सो जानब सतसंग प्रभाऊ। लोकहुँ बेद न आन उपाऊ॥
mati kīrati gati bhūti bhalāī, jaba jehiṁ jatana jahã jehiṁ pāī |
so jānaba satasaṁga prabhāū, lokahũ beda na āna upāū ||
English Rendering
Intelligence, renown, liberation, prosperity, plain goodness — whenever anyone anywhere has attained any of these by any means, know that it was the power of holy company. Neither the world nor the Veda knows any other way.
हिन्दी अनुवाद
बुद्धि, कीर्ति, मोक्ष-गति, ऐश्वर्य, भलाई — जब-जब जिसने भी किसी उपाय से, जहाँ भी, जो कुछ पाया है — उसे सत्संग का ही प्रभाव जानो। लोक और वेद, दोनों में इसके सिवा कोई दूसरा उपाय नहीं।
