nīla saroruha śyāma taruna aruna bārija nayana | karau so mama ura dhāma sadā chīrasāgara sayana ||
English rendering

Dark as a blue lotus, with eyes red-tinged like a newly-opened water-lily — may He who reclines forever on the ocean of milk make my heart His dwelling place.

Context — editorial

A dohā immediately following the child’s appearance. Tulsīdās draws a direct line between the newborn in Kauśalyā’s arms and the Puruṣottama who sleeps on the milk-ocean. They are one and the same one.
