Bāla Kāṇḍa·Chaupāī·4.6
bacana bajra jehi sadā piārā, sahasa nayana para doṣa nihārā ||
English Rendering

To whom words like thunderbolts are always dear; who, with a thousand eyes, watches only for the flaws of others.

Context — Editorial

A closing half-stanza before Dohā 4. Notice the extraordinary economy: a full portrait of a personality in eight words of Awadhi. The final image — a thousand watching eyes, all trained on flaws — sums up the whole khala-vandanā.
