भल अनभल निज निज करतूती। लहत सुजस अपलोक बिभूती॥
सुधा सुधाकर सुरसरि साधू। गरल अनल कलिमल सरि ब्याधू॥
bhala anabhala nija nija karatūtī, lahata sujasa apaloka bibhūtī |
sudhā sudhākara surasari sādhū, garala anala kalimala sari byādhū ||
English Rendering
Good and bad, each by their own doing, come into their inheritance — fair fame, or ill repute. Saints are nectar, the moon and the celestial Gaṅgā; the wicked are poison, fire, and the river of Kali’s filth.
हिन्दी अनुवाद
भले और बुरे — अपने-अपने कर्मों के अनुसार — सुयश और अपयश की सम्पत्ति पाते हैं। साधु अमृत, चन्द्रमा और गंगा-सम हैं; और दुष्ट विष, अग्नि, तथा कलिकाल की मलिन नदी-सम हैं।
