माया ब्रह्म जीव जगदीसा। लच्छि अलच्छि रंक अवनीसा॥
कासी मग सुरसरि क्रमनासा। मरु मालव महिदेव गवासा॥
māyā brahma jīva jagadīsā, lacchi alacchi raṁka avanīsā |
kāsī maga surasari kramanāsā, maru mālava mahideva gavāsā ||
English Rendering
Māyā and Brahman; the individual soul and the Lord of the world. The rich and the destitute; the pauper and the king. Kāśī and Magadha; the celestial Gaṅgā and the Karma-nāśā. Marwar and Mālwa; the brāhmaṇa and the butcher.
