जुगुति बेधि पुनि पोहिअहिं, रामचरित बर ताग।
पहिरहिं सज्जन बिमल उर, सोभा अति अनुराग॥
juguti bedhi puni pohiahiṁ, rāmacarita bara tāga |
pahirahiṁ sajjana bimala ura, sobhā ati anurāga ||
English Rendering
Pierced by skilful craft, and then strung on the fine thread of the Rāma-story, those pearls are worn on the pure chests of the good — and the splendour is one of deep love.

कौशल से बेधकर, फिर श्रीरामचरित के श्रेष्ठ धागे में पिरोई गयीं — वे मुक्तामणियाँ सज्जनों के निर्मल हृदय पर सजती हैं, और उनकी शोभा गहन प्रेम की है।
Context — Editorial
The extended pearl-image reaches its completion. The whole poetic craft is only the piercing; the story of Rāma is the thread; the wearer is the reader; the effect is love. Craft is not the ornament — love is.
