बंदउँ बिधि पद रेनु, भव सागर जेहि कीन्ह जहँ।
संत सुधा ससि धेनु, प्रगटे खल बिष बारुनी॥14(च)॥
baṁdaũ bidhi pada renu, bhava sāgara jehi kīnha jahã |
saṁta sudhā sasi dhenu, pragaṭe khala biṣa bāruṇī ||14(ca)||
English Rendering
I bow to the dust of Vidhi’s (Brahmā’s) feet, by whom the ocean of existence was churned into being — an ocean from which the saints emerged like nectar, the moon and the wish-cow, and the wicked like poison and liquor.
हिन्दी अनुवाद
विधि (ब्रह्मा) के चरणों की रज को प्रणाम करता हूँ — जिनके द्वारा यह संसार-सागर रचा गया; जिसमें से सन्त सुधा (अमृत), चन्द्रमा और कामधेनु के समान प्रकट हुए, और खल विष तथा वारुणी (मदिरा) के समान।
Context — Editorial
The samudra-manthana reappears as a metaphor for creation itself. Every gift and every poison arrived from the same churning. Brahmā’s role was not to sort — only to allow.
