English Rendering
Dark as the blue lotus, with eyes like a freshly-opened red lotus — may He who reclines forever on the ocean of milk make my heart His dwelling place.
Context — Editorial
The third Sorathā — the invocation of Viṣṇu. Tulsīdās does not name him. He describes him by two colours (dark lotus, red lotus), and by his resting place. That is enough. The listener is expected to complete the identification.
