baṁdaũ guru-pada-kaṁja, kṛpā-sindhu nara-rūpa hari | mahāmoha-tama-puṁja, jāsu bacana-rabi-kara-nikara ||
English Rendering

I bow to the lotus feet of my guru — an ocean of grace, Hari in human form — whose words are the massed rays of the sun before the massed darkness of great delusion.

Context — Editorial

The fifth and closing Sorathā. Having invoked Gaṇeśa, the divine reverser of impossibilities, Viṣṇu, and Śiva, Tulsīdās closes the sequence with his own guru — whom he identifies, on the same footing, as Hari himself, taken human form. The next verse begins the poem proper.
